As part of the QuanTEdu consortium, we are organizing a workshop in Tours on June 18–19 dedicated to the teaching of quantum optics and the associated experimental platforms. The main objective of this event is to share, in an informal setting, experiences in teaching quantum optics laboratory sessions, both in terms of pedagogy (tailored to different types of audiences) and the sharing of experimental techniques.

We are planning, in particular, a hands-on experimental session using the Thorlabs quantum optics kit, as well as brainstorming sessions on innovative teaching practices. The workshop is therefore intended both for experienced instructors and for those who would like to become specialists in this field.
